Unscroll: Dopamine Detox

Unscroll is a dopamine detox app and app blocker in one: block distracting apps, set screen time limits, and stop doomscrolling with calm focus sessions — no account needed.

Your phone was supposed to work for you. Somewhere between the 47th refresh and 1 a.m., it quietly started working against you. Unscroll helps you take your time, attention, and sleep back — one calm choice at a time.

🚫 APP BLOCKER & SCREEN TIME LIMITS
Pick the apps that eat your day — social media, short videos, games — and block them. Set a daily screen time limit per app, or schedule block windows: a 9–12 study block, a 23:00–07:00 sleep block so the feed can't follow you to bed. The app blocker keeps working in the background, so you reduce screen time without willpower battles.

⏱️ FOCUS TIMER
One tap starts a 25, 50, or 90-minute focus session, pomodoro-style. Your blocked apps stay closed until the timer ends. Made for deep work, study focus, and exam prep.

🎚️ GRADUAL FRICTION — YOU CHOOSE THE INTENSITY
Not everyone needs a wall. Pick your own level of self-control:
• Level 1 — a 10-second breathing screen before an app opens.
• Level 2 — wait, then type why you're opening it.
• Level 3 — full block until your session ends.
• Hard Mode — the rule can't be edited, cancelled, or deleted until it's over. A real commitment device for when you mean it.

👾 MEET DOPA, YOUR DOPAMINE MONSTER
Dopa is a little creature with 5 sizes and 3 moods. Feed it with endless scrolling and it bloats. Starve the scroll and it shrinks back to something cute and calm. A daily, honest reason to keep your dopamine detox going — not another guilt trip.

🔥 STREAKS, BADGES & MOMENTUM
Build a daily streak, earn streak shields for the days life gets in the way, and unlock badges as your self-control compounds.

🎓 EXAM MODE (Premium)
Set your exam date and get a live countdown, block rules that automatically tighten as the date gets closer, and daily study stats. Built for exam prep — SAT, A-levels, JEE, NEET, YKS, or any deadline that matters.

📊 RECLAIMED TIME — STATS THAT MEAN SOMETHING
Your weekly report turns saved screen time into meaning: "you reclaimed 6 hours this week — half a book, two movies, or a 60 km walk."

📱 HOME SCREEN WIDGET
Your streak, today's screen time, and mini-Dopa, right on your home screen.

— WHO IT'S FOR —
Students who need to study without their phone hijacking the plan. People fighting doomscrolling and the midnight scroll that steals sleep. Anyone doing a dopamine detox or digital detox, limiting social media, reducing screen time, or trying to break what feels like a phone addiction.

💎 FREE VS PREMIUM
Free: block up to 3 apps, friction levels 1–2, focus sessions, basic stats, and streaks.
Premium unlocks unlimited app blocks, Level 3 + Hard Mode, Exam Mode, detailed analytics, every Dopa look, and no ads. Monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase.

🔒 PRIVACY & ACCESSIBILITY
No account, no sign-up. Your app usage, block lists, and focus history are stored on your device.
Unscroll uses Android's Accessibility service for one purpose: to detect which app is in the foreground, so it can show your friction or block screen when you open an app you chose to block. It does not read your screen content or what you type.
