Comments on UpNote - notes, diary, journal for Android

★★★★★ Lel0ny Score · Oct 4, 2026

It's clean, it's minimal, it's simple, it does the job and that's why it's SO GOOD if you don't want to always have to write on your screen to take notes. And it DOESN'T push AI features into your face which makes Up Note even BETTER in terms of probably being the goat.

★★★★★ Ken Harrington · Aug 29, 2026

I've used Google Keep, and then Standard Notes for years before I found Up Note. Whatever I paid for Up Note it was worth it. It syncs across all devices including a native Linux app. It's one of the few premium apps that's really a 10/10.

★★★★★ John Fraser · Aug 25, 2026

Great App, and a Fine Replacement to Evernote for Note-Taking. For me, this Up Note app is simpler and more intuitive to use than Evernote. Evernote’s business features made simple things more convoluted than in Up Note, like including images and links, moving around documents, and note-taking with bullet lists and headers. Moving Notebooks to Up Note was easy - do read Up Note’s online help for this and things like the ‘i’ for information button. Syncing smooth. Price excellent.

This app is broken on Android. I habe sub on my macbook, I am using the same email, and it states, I have to upgrade to premium, I will restore purchase, and it will still ask me to get premium, and it just keeps me in the loop

No menu customization. Little hierarchy for note organization. Slow and buggy on newer Chromebook, especially using dual monitors. Guilty spending $40 on license before testing on my other devices. Value similar to other $5-$10 apps, though I don't use the formula functions.

Sadly, absolutely unusable on iPhone with Voice Over. The New Note button isn't even detected by the screen reader.

★☆☆☆☆ Brajesh Kumar · Oct 13, 2026

1. One sorting should be based on recently opened notes. 2. Sorting Title A-Z is not working correctly in recent update. It is now putting '2.1 Xyz' before '2. Xyz'
