My Google Pixel 3a phone (OS = Android 11) wouldn't read any exFAT formatted micros cards that I connected via a USB-C card reader. Both Google's file browser and several other 3rd party file browser apps I tried wouldn't read them. Google's default file browser and connected devices (under system settings) detected all the cards I tried, but invariably indicated an error reading them followed by a prompt to format, which would obviously erase all files stored on any given card. The cards all tested fine on my laptop and when I hooked up the same micros to USB-C adapter to a Samsung phone it read all my micros cards with no issues. After a bit of online searching, I finally found an explanation as to why my Google Pixel 3a phone wouldn't read the cards via my USB-C card reader. Apparently, some phones (especially budget ones that lack a micros slot) don't natively support Microsoft's exFAT formats on account the phones' manufactures opted to forgo Microsoft's exFAT licensing fees as a means to cut costs. This app gives my phone that functionality. Now when I attach my USB-C card reader device, it reads exFAT formatted micros cards just fine, and I can transfer files to my phone's internal storage. In my case, I'm collecting camera footage of wildlife shot by motion-activated cameras. I'm out in the field in a remote area that's out of cell phone range, I and don't want to lug a laptop around with me. I'm giving the app four stars for now, as this app is working as I hoped it would. I may revise my score up or down accordingly after I've had more time to evaluate the app.

Bought it ONLY for NTFS drive support on my pixel 2xl. Works well. UI is a bit poor. Price is a bit steep too.

So I got the app for the purpose of being able to export to an exFAT drive from my pixel 6 pro (I saw it was a solution to no exFAT support on Reddit). The purpose of having an exFAT drive was to not have a file size limit. Well I come to find that I can't even transfer a 19-minute video because it exceeded the system max file size. The app is useless otherwise because transferring smaller videos doesn't require anything special, and you don't need a third party to do it.

This is not working for me. I have emailed you but no reply yet. I am using a pixel 4 running Android 11. I use a USB-C cable between my phone and SanDisk pro SSD. The drive is exFAT format. I get the following error message in your app: d.c.v.h.p Command Failed 7 74 71 2-0 The drive works fine when plugged into my MacBook. Can you please help or issue a refund? Thanks

doesn't mount fat32 usb thumb drive UPDATE It turned out using the app caused corruption on my micro sd card. The micro sd card was able to be simply recognized by my phone but not mount because the phone wants to format it. When I downloaded the app and attempted to use the apps drivers, during use of the app and attempting to mount the micro sd card, the micro sd card became corrupt and unreadable by anything, and I had to do data recovery off the card.
