Description

Virgin Australia Domestic Flight and Cabin Crew need an easy way to get that four week roster into their Android calendar. Until now you were stuck with manual entry or having to put everything in and then deleting what you didn't want. Roster Importer fixes that. Simply take the roster that is e-mailed to you and copy and paste it into this app. Then with a click of a button your calendar is populated with the events that you choose.

You can choose to include or not the following entries: Transport Pickup Time, Sign on, Flight Duties, Ground Duties, and Layovers.

After processing your roster the app will also tell you the number of days until expiry for Dangerous Goods, Medical, Passport and EPs. It also calculates (for VAA only) the total allowances for the roster for both Cabin and Flight Crew and overtime for Flight Crew.

There is also an option for those that don't like all the individual flight duties listed in the calendar to have one large block of duty that spans from departure time to 30mins after last arrival. Android phones support multiple calendars so you can even insert the individual flights into one calendar and the blocks of duty into another which can be handy if you like one format but your partner likes the other.

VAI 56 day rosters and NZ based crew are supported.
