Vein Finder: Vein Scanner App

Explore vein contrast using your phone’s camera and torch. Vein Finder processes the live camera view on your device, with adjustable enhancement, contrast, and color controls for educational use.

THREE IMAGING MODES
• Basic — red and green color-channel contrast.
• CLAHE — histogram-based contrast enhancement.
• Vessel — ridge enhancement to emphasize image structures.

CAMERA CONTROLS
• Adjust Enhance and Contrast to suit the view and lighting.
• Control torch brightness on supported devices, with an on/off option on other compatible cameras.
• Switch between cyan false-color and grayscale views.
• Pinch to zoom up to 5× within your camera’s supported range.
• Save the processed image directly to your photo gallery.
• Follow the guided introduction and revisit controls, technique tips, and references.

GETTING STARTED
Hold the camera approximately 5–15 cm from the skin, keep it steady, and adjust Enhance and Contrast. Results vary with lighting, skin tone, camera capabilities, and distance. A rear-facing camera is required; torch and zoom support depend on your device.

ONE-TIME FULL ACCESS
The app is free to download. A one-time Full Access in-app purchase unlocks the camera tools; there is no subscription. Google Play shows the local price before purchase. Restore access using the Google Play account that made the purchase.

PRIVACY
Camera frames are processed locally and are not uploaded by Vein Finder. Images are saved only when you use the shutter. Your gallery or device backup services may copy saved images according to your settings. Google Play handles purchases, restoration, and technical billing diagnostics. No app account is required, and the app contains no ads or general app-usage analytics.

EDUCATIONAL USE
Vein Finder is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Do not use it to guide venipuncture, cannulation, IV placement, or any clinical procedure. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
