It's good but the problem with Google Maps is that if you're navigating and turn off the screen, the speed limit overlay hides and the warning sound also stops coming. When we press the power button, Google Maps show on top of lock screen, but the overlay is still hidden (because device is still locked). You can resolve this issue by binding the warning sound to the notification rather than the overlay. Please do this thing because this app is perfect otherwise.

Was using the app successfully in Australia with the TomTom subscription until the battery optimize issue. Reloaded and resubscribed to Tom but the speed limit is weird shows 97 in an 80 zone and 121 in 100 zone

Great app in what should really be included in Google Maps already i.e. a sound warning if you are exceeding the speed limit. Used to be standard in my old NAVMAN but amazingly absent in Google Map Navigation.

Would be great if it could be used a run in background while listening to pandora or Amazon audiobooks (or during any other app) and you can, but you have to have this app open directly while your other apps are playing in the background. Which brings up the worst flaw of this app is it won't work if your phones screen times out...... what's the point of this then. Its suppose to make me a safer driver not more dangerous because I'm constantly turning my phone on to use the app

On a 300 km trip it displayed a speed limit of "--" about 90% of the trip, mostly on highways with posted speed limits. It worked better on rural roads. When it workes, there is a noticeable delay between posted limit and the display in the app. GPS reception was good all the time.

Picked up the speed limit once out of 7 trips I took. Overplayed on top of Waze, which had no issue with displaying the speed limit. Not reliable in its current state.
