Velumi – Koi Pond Wallpaper

Velumi brings a living koi pond to your home screen.

Look down into clear, dark water where koi glide between water lilies, sunlight dances across the stones and every touch sends rings spreading across the surface. Nothing is a looped video: the pond is simulated and rendered live on your phone, so it is never the same twice.

FISH THAT FEEL ALIVE
• 29 species: Kohaku, Sanke, Showa, Utsuri, Asagi, Shusui, Ogon, Tancho, Butterfly koi, goldfish, orfe, carp and shoals of medaka and minnows
• Every fish has its own markings, size and personality
• They school, explore, chase, rest in the shade and come up to feed
• Touch the water and they dart away, or let the curious ones follow your finger
• Press and hold to sprinkle food

A GARDEN THAT GROWS
• Real water plants growing in natural clumps: hardy water lilies, tropical lilies, sacred lotus, spatterdock and floating heart, each with matching flowers
• Ferns, hostas, shrubs and trees around the pond that sway gently in the breeze and bend when you touch them
• Frogs in many colours that croak and leap from pad to pad, and ladybugs wandering over the leaves
• Water lettuce, duckweed and plants beneath the surface

WATER YOU CAN TOUCH
• Ripples that travel, reflect and fade like real water; drag your finger to skip rings across the surface
• Floating leaves dip and rock when a frog lands, fish nudge them from below
• Sky reflections, caustics on the pond floor, sun glints and a fine, ever-moving surface texture

LIGHT FROM DAWN TO MOONLIGHT
• Eight moods: sunny day, golden hour, misty dawn, moonlit night with lanterns, rain, autumn, spring blossom and winter frost
• Follow the time of day automatically
• Seven pond designs: Japanese Garden, Zen Courtyard, Stone Basin, Natural Lagoon, Modern Infinity, Temple Pond and Evening Garden

CALM SOUND AND FEEL
• Original, gentle music and real nature sounds while the app is open: birdsong by day, crickets, frogs and owls at night, soft drips and a low breeze (the wallpaper itself is always silent)
• Subtle haptics as you touch the water, and a gentle tilt parallax that gives the pond depth

KIND TO YOUR PHONE
• Auto detail measures your device and adapts, from budget phones to flagships
• Sleeps completely when not visible, follows Battery Saver and backs off when the phone warms up
• Dimmed and lighter on the lock screen
• Smooth 90 and 120 fps on screens that support it (optional)
• Any screen size or orientation, including tablets and foldables

GOOD TO KNOW
Like any live wallpaper, Velumi uses some battery while it is on screen, and your phone may get warm at high detail or high frame rates, during long use or while charging. Choose Auto detail and 30 fps for the lightest setting. See our Terms of Use.

FREE, WITH A FAIR UPGRADE
Velumi is free with two ponds, two moods (or follow the time of day), four classic koi and one music track. Ads appear only as a small banner inside the app, never on your wallpaper.
Try everything first: preview any Pro pond, mood or fish live, or watch one short video ad to enjoy Velumi Pro free for 24 hours. Watching is always optional.
Velumi Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks every pond, mood, fish, plant, frog, ladybug, music track and effect, and removes the ads. No subscription.

HOW TO USE
Open Velumi, tap Customize to design your pond, then tap Set.

Recent changes:
Velumi 1.0.14
• Koi swimming rebuilt from the ground up: smooth, flowing turns with no twitching, even at 90 and 120 fps
• Koi bend gently like real carp, so the tail no longer swings right round in a turn
• Koi now rest and doze (deeper at night), nose slowly round the lily pads, wander between surface and deep water, and come to look at your taps
