Comments on Ventra for Android

★★★★☆ Theresa Diaz · Apr 24, 2026

Never had a problem this app works great but only reason I give it 4 stars is cuz you can't erase old cards you either don't have anymore or are expired. I have like 6 cards on there that I don't have and have no money on them and there's no way to delete them without calling customer service.

★★★★★ ThankingGOD Inadvance · Apr 7, 2026

I have had this app since I was a preteen, this is the best app ever some of the features include you get your $5 back once you register the card, and they send you a card with your name on it, I think I never got it, 😮‍💨 I never got the card but yeah what else can I say about this card you can add your money on your bus card through debit card. Its safe you can track buses you can track trains, and met it give you other solutions also .

★☆☆☆☆ Ralph Valery VALIERE Uchicago · Mar 13, 2026

What is going on with this App? Now every time I am trying to get the bus or Metra, I am praying that the App works, so I don't get in trouble.

★★☆☆☆ Richard Martinez · Aug 27, 2026

I like it because it's convenient. However, lately, it's been asking me to enable Wi-Fi scanning for "better experience". This never happened to me and no matter how many times I tried to say no, the notification continued showing up. The CTA tracker is no longer useful. I'm moving to the Bus Tracker app.

★☆☆☆☆ Katherine Gibson · Aug 28, 2026

The app barely works most of the time. It says I'm offline when I'm not, and I can't buy tickets or reload my ventra card. I constantly have to close and reopen it multiple times before it works and even then nine out of ten times I can't do a damn thing in it. 0/10 do not recommend unless you have to use it.

★☆☆☆☆ Tina Vee · Sep 16, 2026

Terrible. When I attempt to apply my payment, nothing happens. When I attempt to add a card for payment, nothing happens. I've uninstalled the app, restarted my phone, changed my password, and nothing happens. The app is completely useless in terms of purchasing fares.
