VerseDawn: Daily Bible Widget

A verse on your home screen, every day.

VerseDawn puts one verse from the Bible on your home screen. When you want more, it opens up the words behind it: the original Greek, a short historical note, and a question to sit with.

QUIET BY DESIGN
- No account. Nothing you read or write leaves your device.
- No ads.
- Works offline. The whole Berean Standard Bible ships inside the app.

HOW IT IS PAID FOR
VerseDawn is free to download. The home-screen widget needs a subscription: $6.99/month, $49.99/year or $2.99/week in the US (R$19,90 / R$79,99 / R$7,99 in Brazil). It renews automatically until you cancel, and you cancel in Google Play, under Subscriptions. The rest of the app — reading, the prayer, the daily reminder and reading aloud — stays free either way. The paywall shows the exact price, the trial if there is one, and the date of your first charge before you pay.

ON YOUR HOME SCREEN, YOUR WAY
- Four sizes: 2x2, 3x2, 4x2, 4x4
- Two layouts: words on a solid panel, or full-bleed with the artwork behind them
- Sixteen backgrounds: engravings, classical paintings, minimal, night
- Tap the widget to open the verse

TWO MINUTES TO PRAY
A short guided prayer in three steps, with music if you want it. No streaks, no nudges, and nothing asks whether you finished. You can leave at any step.

THE WORDS BEHIND IT
Every word carries its original form, transliteration, Strong's number and parsing. The historical notes come from public-domain commentaries, and where a note covers a range of verses we say which range. The question at the end is ours, not the text's, and we say so.

WHAT IT IS NOT
This app is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. It is not a replacement for your church or for your own reading.
