Datenschutz und Berechtigungen: Die App benötigt Zugriff auf Kontakte nur zur Adressauswahl. Ihre Daten bleiben sicher und werden nur für die Auskunft verwendet. Der Zugriff auf Fotos, Medien und Dateien wird nur für die Speicherung von Kartendaten verwendet. Bluetooth und „Geräte in der Nähe“ werden für die bessere Ortung unterirdisch während einer egon Fahrt verwendet. Die Nutzung von Bewegungsdaten (Fitness/Health) wird bei egon zur besseren Erkennung verwendet.
Internetverbindung und Ortungsfunktion: Für volle Funktionalität und den Ticketkauf ist eine Internetverbindung erforderlich. Die Ortungsfunktion hilft bei der automatischen Auswahl nahegelegener Haltestellen und wird für die Ortung während einer egon Fahrt verwendet.

The Egon stuff I like: you just inform the app that you throw in public transport into your mix of means of transportation, and it will buy you the necessary tickets on-the-fly and at a decent price. Just check from time to time if the app still works: the ticket controllers typically understand that computers might fail, but they actually do.

The old Egon app didn't charge me €10 for each trip only to reimburse the difference later. Why could the old app charge me exactly how much I owed but the new app cannot? The old Egon app also didn't need working Bluetooth to determine my location. Even tge bike-sharing app doesn't charge me €10 each time.

??? It is a good app, but there are too many apps for the public transportation like DB, NüMO, VGN. Like just stick to one, and they all are so different. Also, the lack of availability for Huawei devices.

The app's route planner is incredibly frustrating for families and tourists. If you select a route, there is no shopping cart to buy an adult and child ticket together. Tapping a ticket option forces an instant single checkout, wiping out your route selection. You have to make two completely separate purchases back-to-back just to travel with a child. Terrible user experience for holidaymakers.

Bug for viewing Deutschland ticket picture.every time I try to view my ticket there should be a visible picture under qr code.when I visit ticket first time it is white blank and to make it visible I go back then to ticket again.

Not possible to buy adult ticket and a child ticket at the same time. App is very stressful to use
