Vial Magic: Color Sort

Vial Magic: Color Sort is a single-player water sorting puzzle game with a collectible CG illustration gallery. Players solve levels by moving colored liquid between bottles, then progress through the game to unlock pictures for their collection.

WHAT YOU DO IN THE GAME

The main activity is sorting colored water. Each level displays bottles containing several layers of different colors. You must move the liquid between these bottles until every non-empty bottle contains only one color.

The colors remain separate layers. You are organizing them, not mixing them to create new colors.

HOW THE POURING CONTROLS WORK

Tap a bottle to select it, then tap another bottle to pour liquid into it.

A pour is allowed when the destination bottle has enough empty space and either contains no liquid or has the same color on top as the liquid being moved.

Only the uppermost color can be poured. To move a color underneath another layer, you must first remove the liquid above it. You cannot pour into a full bottle or place a color on top of a different color.

Continue moving the layers until the colors are separated into single-color bottles. Bottles that are not needed can remain empty.

EXAMPLE OF A MOVE

If one bottle has blue liquid above red liquid, you must move the blue liquid before you can access the red.

You can pour that blue liquid into an empty bottle or another bottle with blue liquid on top, as long as there is enough room. Removing the blue layer exposes the red layer and creates another possible move.

SOLVING THE LEVELS

Look at the arrangement before choosing a bottle. Empty bottles provide temporary storage and help you reach colors trapped beneath other layers.

A move that matches two colors may still leave you without enough space for the next step. Consider both the color you are moving and the layer that will be exposed afterward.

Completing the sorting objective clears the current level and allows you to continue to the next puzzle.

CG ILLUSTRATION COLLECTION

In addition to the water sorting levels, Vial Magic: Color Sort includes CG artwork, meaning digital illustrations that players can unlock and collect.

Progress through the puzzle levels to meet the game's artwork unlock requirements. Unlocked illustrations become available in the in-game gallery, where you can open and view the pictures you have collected.

The illustrations are collection content, separate from the sorting board. The core gameplay remains moving colored liquid between bottles to solve puzzles.
