Best vibration meter I could find on the play store so far. Using it to dynamically balance the motors on my multi-rotors. Being able to records samples is great, delay before acquisition is nice too. Only annoying details (for my use) : I have to do lots of samples to balance a single motor and lose a lot of time going to "ViewData" after each sampling. It would be really the best to display basic infos about the last sampling on the "acquire" page (at least the RMS vibration).

Great app for accelerometer data Makes it easy to collect and export accelerometer data. Selectable units, MATLAB export nice. Was able to do vibration analysis of translation stage, find resonances and level of vibration. Great for quantitative analysis, engineering apps.

Eroneous Frequency Calculations I like the app. However, the calculated frequency is not correct. I compared the VibSensor output with other reliable frequency measurement techniques and found VibSensor to be incorrect. Also, my application squares the frequency to determine cable tensions. Hence, readout precision to 0.1Hz is not good enough for the low frequencies - <5Hz - encountered in my engineering work.
