Vincity was a big city, full with happy traffic and families, it was home to million of people and unfortunately 😕to Alfred as well.
Vincity was the only major city in their planet, who grew more and more and brought about questions of if other life forms existed, they found out other life forms do exist and were not even far from each other.
The wise men among the Howard vice city research department, decided to interven and warn those who know of such knowledge not to broadcast this to anyone, that a rule which existed for years might come to action for the first time in history.
They disclosed the news and made it sound all fictional but the news later got out and was broadcasted on the whole net including TV.
When the whole city watched this new they all were disintegrated to dust by an unseen force, every where quiet, as if beside a stream with night birds singing but instead it was just the sound of the TV which became the loudest thing all round the city, after that, the city began to crash and burn, accidents and more...
Well the unfortunate Alfred was drunk the night of the event and stayed out of net or TV cause his gf was a celebrity, who dumped him for a male celeb, yh hurts alot to see someone thrown away for someone better and hurts even more for the person to admit his better.
Alfred after days of drinking wondered why his noisy neighbours who argue all day 🙄about if not the cat then its the fact that they love each other, so he stood up from bed and immediately noticed no sound of horn, he was like what on earth is happening, a whole mega city with out a single sound of horn or curse word from citizens 😉 he must be dreaming he thought and opened his window only to see a destroyed city with the black smokes growing into the bright sky from a distance, Alfred is a shutdown soldier, he was shut down cause he disobeyed the order of his superior 7 times and a last when he was told not to turn down the proposal of the daughter to the military chief commander, so he wasn't shocked so much to the teeth, he was only puzzled, he closed his window, turn around ran to his desk, pushed it aside to reveal his secret mini wardrobe small enough to be covered by the desk, he brought out his bag of guns and was about to load them up when he remembered he swore an oat not to ever draw out a gun again, (forgot to mention Alfred is a man of the law) so instead he looked around for his second melee weapon the axe and went on his way to figure out what happened... 🤔do you think he could find out what happen or even maybe find something of meaning that good put him on the right path...

Days later...

Alfred is left alone in the world, he sees that no one else is alive and he became so confuse and lost. He searched and searched but no one other than scary and horrible things. Alfred almost lost hope until when he saw a person appear from no where and left, he was so shocked and what he saw raised a new objective and meaning in his mind which lead him to pursue this taste for knowledge, he believes he can bring everyone back.
