Great background capable YouTube app Works as described, love it. Coming from windows phone and before that apple I was disappointed to see android could not easily play YouTube videos in the background. That is, in till I saw this app.

Perfect app. I switched to Viral Lite about a year ago, because I wanted 60 fps video for my Android devices. All the other features it offered (offline viewing, pop out windows etc.) were gravy. Now, I switched to Viral Pro, gladly forking over the fee, not just to get rid of the ads, but because it is one of the best apps I have used for Android. It's generally faster than the YouTube app, battery life tends to go better for me with it as well. Get it, it's good! Edit: and background playback WORKS.

Sad stuff. Loosing Background functionality. I know as the app dev. You would like to get rid of the really bad ratings, by pushing an update, but i'd suggest try to tackle the problem in other ways. The biggest reason for me paying and buy the pro app is to be able to play my YouTube music playlists in the BG. But since that exact function is NOT there anymore. I don't think I'll end up using this app at all. And sorry for the bad review, Just wish had the function I paid for..

don't even waste your time right now. had this app before & it worked fairly well. just recently reset my phone & re-installed & all functionality is gone. "add to playlist" causes the app to force close every single time. "add to favorites" works, but when i go to my favorites to play the videos, none of them load. videos do not play in the background anymore either. way too many bugs.

Had potential. Shouldn't have to pay $4 for ads. Now that youtube can play in the background, I have no use for this app.
