I found this game in 2011 when I had my LG Optimum s. I spent hours playing this game all the way up until about 2013 when I had my Motorola Matrix HD. As you progress in the game it takes longer to load and harder to progress farther. I recently tried to install it on my Motorola G stylus 5G 2021 and 2023 models, and the game would freeze solid before you even got to play. I installed it today on my Motorola G stylus 5G 2025 and it works. Here I go down this road again.

I read an article published today about this game, and I enjoy casual city building games, so I downloaded to check it out. Even after a couple reboots, I can still say I immediately soft lock in the tutorial. I see a condescending, "Aw, look... your first city management contract!" alongside an obvious arrow pointing to where I should tap to start building things. But the glowing spot I should tap on does nothing. In fact, tapping absolutely ANYWHERE on my entire screen does nothing. Moving on.

I'll give it two stars, only because they turned a nostalgic gem into a pay to play type of game, I've grown up around virtual city, virtual city was one out of many arcade games online that had tons of fun features and mechanics just waiting to be unlocked with enough play and patience, now virtual city playground makes you pay to unlock other goodies by purchasing gems to proceed at the pace you desire, because the revenue builds up slow, gems are a rare currency to obtain till forced to pay.
