ViseoTape: VHS Camcorder

Your phone, shot on tape.

ViseoTape turns your phone into a 1990s VHS camcorder. Point it at the world and the viewfinder shows the tape look live: noise, colour bleed, scan lines, tracking glitches and a date stamp. Press the orange REC key and what you record has the same look baked in.

SHOOT
- Live VHS viewfinder with an on-screen display: STBY and REC, the tape mode (SP, LP, EP, WN or NS) and a date and time stamp, with a running tape counter beside the controls
- Records video with sound to your camera roll
- A speed dial switches the tape mode: SP, LP, EP, WORN or NEWS
- Pinch or fader zoom, and a CUT key that blacks out picture and sound for a moment
- 4:3 or 16:9 framing

TUNE THE TAPE (Tape Lab)
- Tape: noise, colour bleed, tracking error and speed, line wobble, dropouts and a head-switch band
- Picture: softness, scanlines, vignette, resolution, contrast and brightness
- Colour: saturation, warmth and black and white
- Display: date stamp, REC / STBY text and mode label, with size, colour and position, or your own date text
- Audio: tape hiss, muffle, wow and flutter, noise reduction, hum, crackle and audio dropouts
- Presets: reset, three user presets (tap to load, hold to save, edit to rename)

TITLE CARDS
Add a start card and an end card, each with its own switch, text, motion (flash, scroll, type or slide), ground (picture, blue, black or static), colour and length, and preview them before you shoot.

IMPORT AND CONVERT
Already have a video? Import it and ViseoTape converts it with the same tape look and audio filter, with a progress bar and a cancel key. Your title cards are added if they are switched on.
