Checked for reviews and stuff but couldn't find many but what meager ones there were convinced me to buy this. Tested it and it works great on my android. It really is what it says it is, local offline speech to text and with offline AI ability to ask questions about the transcripts. Excellent job to the developer!

Viska is the voice notes app I've always wanted on Android: ✔️ Fully offline ✔️ Powered by Whisper ✔️ Just opinionated transcripts ✔️ Simple search It's not trying to be a TODO app / Planner, and thanks to that simplicity, it absolutely nails the "Open -> Record -> Copy / Summarize" flow that every other app fails at. I've confirmed it's fully offline by blocking the app's internet access entirely with Tracker Control (after the initial model download), and it's been rock solid.

App is not polished enough yet. I renamed my file while it was transcribing, and it caused an error. It won't transcribe the recording.
