Switched to Vivaldi from Firefox a couple of months ago. I was very happy with Firefox but wanted a European alternative with equivalent privacy features. The switch was painless, and I'm very happy with Vivaldi. For me, it's as good, if not better than Firefox.

Edit: refresh icon keeps disappearing on URL bar since v8! Pin tabs are great, but I want pinned tabs on right near thumb, not left. And needs to find in page shortcut on URL bar. Why not an option? Original: It's improving but needs some more features. 1. Draggable scroll bar on right like Leaner and Samsung Internet for quick scrolling. 2. Reopen closed tab shortcut (holding plus button). 3. Opening Gmail links and some others should open in full Vivaldi, not preview.

So, I really like this browser. I like how customizable it is, it works well with most websites I use. I just have a suggestion. When you long press a picture to bring up the options, there isn't 'copy picture address', which I use a lot on other browsers. I have to pull up the picture in another tab to get the address that way. It's a bit clunky that way.

Twice yesterday I tried to make a payment on two different websites, but it failed due to this browser, I was able to complete them on Firefox. They were both card payments, and I was able to get to the stage of approving the payment in my banking app but when returning to the browser I could only see a greyed out v logo, the payments didn't go through. One of the websites was argos.co.uk. edit: thank you for the response, I'm a new user and very keen to keep using this browser

Vivaldi for Android tablets painfully lacks several features that it should have according to specs and that are there in the Android phone version: 1. List of open tabs as a textual list. This documented Vivaldi feature should be there since years but is lacking on tablets. 2. In the phone version, it is possible to make frequently used menu item accessible fast. In the tablet version I have to dig deep in the menu to find even the single most often used function, search within page...
