This is great! It used to be that you'd have to work with a vocal coach to determine your vocal range. Now you can do it with an app! Amazing! It's also interesting to see how your range compares with famous singers and which songs might be appropriate for you based on your range. Very cool!

My vocal range puts me at soprano, but the app says my voice type is tenor.

This app is only good for finding your highest and lowest notes, but fails at classifying your voice type. It classified me as a tenor, when I'm a female with a range that goes from D3 to D#6. That's clearly between a Mezzo and a Soprano voice. It was better before they split the original app.

With determining and naming the voice range as the main feature, it looks the app doesn't do more than simple average between two notes caught at some point of lowest and highest note stages (not even statistically weighted over these periods). It determined me both as baritone and bass with the same lowest A#1, and then both as bass and contralto (!) somehow catching "lowest" C3 in other pair of tries. Are you kidding me?!
