Depending on your phone this app can be amazing. One of my brothers use the app to record us playing music in our church temple. His phone makes the recordings sound bad. My phone makes the recordings sound similar to what is heard with my ears. It's a great app. It does what it's supposed to do. 9/12/23 UPDATE!!!! So after using this amazing app, the only issue I have with it is this. I am not able to transfer the recordings from one phone to the next. It's quite frustrating to say the least.

The use of a graphic old style tape recorder is very nice, and I don't know why other apps are not using it. Everything else is below mediocre. You can't even open the recording back inside the tape recorder. No editing features at all.

Update: I ended up uninstalling the app. The inability to prevent the screen from falling asleep while recording was a dealbreaker for me. This is a fun and useful app. It would be great if there were a way to prevent the screen from falling asleep, since it records the sound of me typing my password to wake up the phone at the end of the track. It would also be helpful if there were a setting to automatically repeat the track during playback.
