Voice Recorder & Audio Memos

A fast, private voice recorder for lectures, meetings, interviews and audio memos, for the idea that arrives at the worst possible moment. One tap starts recording, and everything you record stays on this phone. No account and no cloud upload.

RECORD IN ONE TAP
• Quick start: begin in the app or straight from the Quick Settings tile
• Background recording: it keeps going while you switch apps or lock the screen
• Live level meter and timer, so you can see the audio is really there
• Crash recovery: if a call or a dead battery interrupts you, the file is recovered, not lost
• No recording time limit

AAC, MP3, WAV OR FLAC AT UP TO 48 kHz
• AAC out of the box; MP3, WAV and lossless FLAC with Pro
• 16 kHz, 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz, mono or stereo
• Noise suppression, echo cancellation and automatic gain control (Pro)
• Input gain you set before you hit record

BOOKMARKS INSTEAD OF SCRUBBING
• Drop a bookmark on the moment that matters, while recording or while listening
• Jump straight back to it inside a two-hour lecture recording
• Skip silence and play at 0.5× to 2× to get through a long meeting fast

STAY ORGANIZED
• Categories: meeting, lecture, interview, idea, music, personal
• Search by name, filter by category
• Rename, share, or export to your device's Recordings folder
• Set any recording as your ringtone
• Trash keeps deleted files for 30 days, so an accidental delete is easy to undo

WHO USES IT
• Students recording lectures and seminars
• Journalists and researchers recording interviews
• Teams recording standups and meetings
• Musicians catching a rehearsal take or a melody before it goes
• Anyone who needs a quick voice memo while the thought is still there

FREE AND PRO
The free version shows ads and records in AAC. Voice Recorder Pro adds MP3, WAV and FLAC plus the full set of audio cleanup tools, and it removes ads. Choose a weekly or yearly subscription, or pay once for lifetime access. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel yours any time in Google Play.
