Voice notes is a brilliant app. The app is reliable, and I use it all the time. The newest feature is dictation, and that's a game changer. The voice notes tea are highly responsive and are always working on improvements. Strongly recommended.

One of my favorite purchases of all time. I use & query it multiple times daily. I've extended to notion, Hermes and Atomic app via the API, so I can add knowledge to my knowledge base, events to my calendar and tasks and ideas to my projects. This all happens with my voice input on the phone, and my watch when I'm moving around and my phone isn't on me! 5 stars!

On my Samsung s22 the app was unreliable, so I had to use desktop & my ipad for a while, but I've loved Voice notes regardless since the day I purchased. Upgrading to a new phone makes the app work flawlessly. I'm so happy with everything Voice notes does. Sometimes I use a handheld voice recorder and then later upload onto the desktop. The system I made has been seriously life-changing.

Serious problems with this. The app now fails to upload recordings citing "waiting for network", so recordings are effectively lost. Worse than this however is the app will randomly record even without my asking it to; a notification sometimes pops up saying voice notes is recording, and I can use my phone as normal, when I check the app there's a bunch of random background recordings I never authorized. Massive security problems, in other words!

I'm not happy with it. I'm going to cancel it. It keeps not recording, or it stops in the middle of recording. Or it records something and then tells me there's no audible content, and I know there was. It's trash. Do not get this app.

A lot of things are buggy, and always a new issue comes up. I stopped using android for a while because I've lost notes in the middle on recording countless times, And I started using web only and now the web is also having issues, I tried mentioning everything in feedback form but got no response. I miss the old quality and refinement when you started vn. sadly, available in all platforms feels like the only mvp now, even the quality of transcripts really become worse.
