**READ THIS FIRST**

Voidborne Tactics isn't trying to be a typical mobile game.

It has a learning curve. The UI may feel unfamiliar at first. There are a lot of systems under the surface, and the game doesn't expect you to understand all of them immediately.

If that already sounds annoying, this probably isn't your game.

But if you like figuring things out, experimenting with builds, and discovering why something worked - or spectacularly didn't - keep reading.

Build ships, assemble a fleet, pick an admiral, and send your questionable engineering decisions into battle.

Weapons deal different types of damage. Shields resist them differently. Armor reduces damage, plating wears down, components can be damaged or destroyed, crew can be lost, and ships can become disabled. Formations, targeting, tactical cards, admirals, weapons and components all interact.

Sometimes the answer is simply **more battleships**.

Sometimes it isn't.

When you're grinding or already know your fleet will win, turn on **Auto** and let it handle the battle. When you finally meet something your fleet can't brute-force, take control and start figuring out what went wrong.

Maybe your formation is wrong. Maybe you're using the wrong damage type. Maybe that expensive ship you love isn't nearly as good as you thought.

Or maybe you really do need more battleships.

Play through the story campaign, fight Quick Battles, take on weekly bosses and rotating challenges, or see how far you can push your fleet through the Long Patrol.

Choose different admirals. Experiment with ships and components. Find combinations that work. Break them. Build something better.

Voidborne Tactics is made by one developer and is actively growing. Rewarded ads are optional, and PvP has no progression rewards for winning.

It won't be for everyone. That's intentional.
