I tried several other VoIP voice apps with VoIP.ms servers, but this app works the best, even better than a paid app that I tried. It handles outgoing calls well, and even notifies me of incoming calls! A very solid VoIP application that works seamlessly with the VoIP.ms servers.

Good app for power users. I could see some wanting a guided experience that configures DID number activation and SIP routing for them all within the app, and I do think there's a market for that. But for power users who like having full control over everything, this app is a great addition to the toolbox. Not too difficult to get calls/SMS working by following the wiki, though I did run into the same issue others have reported where the app only works with subaccounts and not the primary.

Thank you VoIP.ms! Make sure to use your account number than your username (not voip.ms website login email) and you need to create your SIP/IAX password on the website for the soft phone app. In other words, do not use the website credentials here you silly goofy person !

Spent over an hour following tutorials, changing servers, resetting passwords. Eventually tried the "set random password and send email" button in the 'account settings>security' page on the website, and it finally worked. Pretty unbelievable the voip.ms app is such a nightmare to get working with your voip.ms account

Messy. I had to delete and re-setup my voip.ms sip account on the site and in their app. You can set up and voice won't work but sms will work. A true conflict of expectation. App doesn't load, login and function properly. It's a voip.ms app, voip.ms account. It was a 2 hour and 2 day setup as I gave up day 1 and tried again the next. If you were to figure my time value and the value of what was distracted from. You could easily say the roi on this little is about 3 years.

The good: Easy to set up and it just worked. The bad: Two issues I have 1) doesn't pop up the app when a call comes in, and I'm in another app, it only rings with no apparent way to take the call and 2) no apparent way to turn it off short of uninstalling. Not useful with those limitations.
