Description
VoLock: Voice Lock Screen lets you unlock your custom lock screen using your personal voice phrase or an alternate PIN. Customize your lock-screen experience while keeping Android's built-in security enabled.
VOICE PHRASE UNLOCK
Set and confirm a memorable phrase, then speak the same phrase on the VoLock screen to unlock it. VoLock compares the recognized words with the phrase saved on your device. It does not use biometric voice identification.
ALTERNATE PIN
Use your PIN whenever you are in a noisy place, prefer not to speak, or speech recognition is unavailable. You can update both your voice phrase and PIN from the app.
CUSTOM LOCK-SCREEN EXPERIENCE
Personalize the VoLock screen with the available wallpaper, clock, date and time options. Preview your changes before using them and choose whether you want audio cues and haptic feedback.
SIMPLE SERVICE CONTROLS
Turn the Voice Lock Service on or off from the home screen. While protection is enabled, Android shows a persistent notification so the service remains visible and under your control.
PRIVACY-MINDED BY DESIGN
• Your saved voice phrase and alternate PIN are stored locally in encrypted app preferences. • VoLock does not store microphone recordings. • Microphone access is used only for voice recognition during setup or the voice-unlock flow. • Speech processing is provided by the recognition service available on your Android device. Processing may occur on-device or through that provider, depending on your device and settings. • The app does not require an account.
PERMISSIONS USED
Microphone access is required to recognize your spoken phrase. Display over other apps allows VoLock to show its lock-screen overlay. Notifications keep the active service visible. You can review or revoke these permissions in Android Settings.
PLEASE NOTE
VoLock provides an app-managed overlay for convenience and personalization. It does not replace Android's built-in system lock, device PIN, pattern, password, biometrics, encryption, or other device security. Keep Android's system lock enabled for primary device protection.
Voice recognition accuracy can vary with background noise, pronunciation, language support, network availability, and the speech recognition service installed on your device. VoLock is not a continuously listening voice assistant and does not lock the phone in response to a background voice command.
VoLock contains ads. Where required, privacy choices are requested before ads are loaded.
