This game is a love letter to the classic point & click adventure games of the 1990s such as Monkey Island and Broken Sword. The artwork is beautiful, the voice acting is great, the deadpan comedy of the protagonist is wonderful. I wholeheartedly recommend this to any point-n-click adventure fans.

"They don't make them like the used to..." until they do! This game is very reminiscent of Lucasarts point and click adventure games, especially the animation style of The Curse of Monkey Island. Just played my first hour and was thoroughly entertained- it's got a captivating story, lots of visual appeal, professional voice acting, great interface, interesting puzzles, and most importantly, it definitely has a sense of humor. I will look forward to playing this one to the end! Thanks devs!

I've played many games like this such as the great Rusty Lake series. Maybe this one gets better over the length of the game. I've walked over the accessible locations many times, talking to every available character. I've picked up several items, but I cannot find the items needed to keep the game progressing. I got bored watching the detective slowly walk over the same areas with no luck finding some new clue or item. Never got close to solving the Fontule case. Waste of money for me.

Given the price (€16.99), I was very disappointed with this game. It's short, very easy and it's also linear. So it plays more like an interactive fiction than a game. There's no real challenge to the puzzes at all. The authors also are heavy on their personal gripes in the storyline, which I found distracted from the plot and the game itself. Two stars because the artwork is pleasant, and I enjoyed learning about Voodoo and Hoodoo.
