Voyent Alert! is a smart notification service that enables users to receive critical event and general day-to-day communications from participating municipalities, regional governments and organizations.

The Voyent Alert! communications are customized for each user’s followed locations (e.g. "Home", "Work", "Kid's School", "Mobile Phone"). Users can be provided with notifications containing greater situational context, such as direction and distance to a critical event based on their location as well as enriched media such as images, PDFs and hyperlinks to more information.

Voyent Alert! provides concise information when you require it and ensures you are not saturated with notifications that are not relevant to you.

Nothing is updating on the app, since more than 24hrs ago. The fire near our town has more than doubled in size and people are turning to this app that authorities advised we use. Useless!

I am forced to use this app as my emergency alert app by my regional district in BC. It has a loud alarm when an alert comes in. Which is great when you are being evacuated. Not so good when your back home and back on alert, and it goes off because the neighboring area can now go home. Giving me a small heart attack while at work because I think I'm being evacuated again. This app has plenty of room for improvement. Which I hope they do or gets replaced with something that does suck so much.

No updates for 5 days for the State of Local Emergency Alerts/Orders, an app which government and authorities had FIRST on the list as the resource to utilize for warnings for a large fire central Vancouver Island 9 km from city.

This app is supposed to provide alerts to keep people safe and aware. Our town Logan Lake BC was put on evacuation alert and only a handful of people received an alert!!! Not reliable at all...
