I use it in China. Works pretty well. Holds and auto reconnects well on mobile. Occasionally there are periods with difficulty connecting, but that happens with all commercial VPNs.

I think that this VPN is good as outside of leaks it worked very well. WebRTC's leaks were the problem that I could not get fixed despite several hours of trying various options to prevent the leaks. I contacted the company and was told to use a certain browser extension for the WebRTC leaks. However, firefox no longer supports the recommended extension nor does firefox support hardly any other extension dealing with this issue. Firefox also precludes the use of "config:" now.

In response to another review this provider claimed there is no refund policy, in fact in past they had. Later they claimed that I got the refund, contrary to 1st statement. They also claimed service is working fine in the UAE n said "this is your ISP issue", they don't have an idea there are just two ISPs in the UAE, if you can't offer a reliable service don't put on user that they don't know, you aren't the only techie here. They can put users in serious problem with regulator and authorities.

I joined many years ago, and over the years observed less and less frequent updates, no development of infrastructure, tools frozen on how they were years ago, no improvements, no new services. About 2 years ago VPN.AC completely stopped progressing. Sadly this once very promising VPN is slowly dying. I have cancelled my account and moved to another provider. Avoid, there are many alive and active providers.

Basically the vpn.ac company seems to spend more to make or buy fake reviews on Google play than on making vpn.ac a reliable vpn app for connecting from locations in China. Basically it's often been horribly slow and unreliable. And when telling vpn.ac reps about that, vpn.ac tried to point fingers anywhere it could rather than admitting vpn.ac is not fully reliable, and the apps had problems. Wish I knew which vpn is the best choice now.
