Comments on VPN2Share Share VPN (No root) for Android

★★★★★ Teuku Ryan Fachrianta · Mar 30, 2022

I've tried several other similar apps, so far I found that VPN2Share is the only one that works nicely both for the client and server sides. Thanks dev, keep going!

★★★★★ J B · Apr 25, 2022

Working well for me. I've discovered you can input the IP addresses you get from VPN2Share server. For devices that don't have a proxy setting (like the Xbox). You can input the VPN sever address into the DNS section. And Wala... You now are on a proxy connection. I did this for my Xbox Series S and Fire TV stick. 👍

★★★★★ Jim Snyder · Oct 22, 2025

This is exactly what I was looking for. It lets you create a virtual adapter on Windows which connects via a proxy server on the phone. It uses phone data (or vpn if started) instead of using just a proxy server on the phone. I am not sure how it works on Android. It looks like it just uses a proxy (which I think is a limitation of Android). One hiccup I noticed is that it will not connect Android clients if a Windows client is connected first.
