Full Virtual Reality: turn your head around and watch the environment. 2 (honestly bare) 3D environments, and dozens of photographic ones to choose from. Works with all mp4 files (and with a bit of luck other formats...), can play movies from the web and other applications. Supports many 3D movie formats, like SBS, Over/Under and Red-Cyan anaglyph, but plays normal 2D movies as well. Supports .srt subtitle files: select them manually, or automatically if the subtitle file name matches the video. No ads, no in-app payments or statistics gathering: 100% free for personal use! Doesn't require buttons on the headset to work. Make yourself at home: check the "Options" menu and configure the theater as you like!

Recent changes: VR Theater 1.0 — the theater finally has seats.
Turn on "Theater seating" next to the Play button: the empty room becomes an auditorium, and you're sitting in it. Off by default — if your phone can take it, try it.
Also: - spatial audio got a serious upgrade, on by default this time - the usual bug fixes, and certainly some new ones

Decided to test my Shin econ VR headset, and this app was the perfect test for it! Other than a random app crash when I tapped the settings button (only once did that happen between installation completion and when I send this review), the app worked flawlessly! Even better: It reads from SD cards so if you have videos lying in SD storage, use them in this app! 5 stars to a single developer who managed to get this app in a stable state! Edit: Was incompatible, but now is compatible again. 4 stars.

Been using this app for over 6 years. Recently there dev has returned to make updates, but I do have some issue/advise. 1. Allow changing of default Screen type and 3d Video Encoding. Having to reset for every video can be annoying 2. The forward / reverse feature bugs freezing not showing the preview as prior 3. Allow Screen type orientation not to be limited to standard 16:9 or 16:10 instead use the aspect of videos itself like other apps. Still a great app 👍

Need additional video format support or codec support, now it time to run without Google cardboard license, for streaming options could be helpful I mean as an external player, plz get reference from Vars vr player they are literally good and at last web browser player like iWebVR Pro also fine get reference from there. Everything is good thanks to open source developer

Fresh install, wouldn't play basic mp4. Seems like the dev has moved on, would recommend doing the same.

The app doesn't work now. It keeps loading local files to infinity, and when I try to open videos through my file manager in this app, it just crashes. I think I used this app before, and it worked back then.

The one-star rating is for customer service. I posted about a problem but received abuse! The app deserves more than one star but having been sworn at by the developer it won't be getting additional stars
