This app is the best of its kind. If USB tethering isn't working make sure that "USB tethering" is enabled on your phone. If it still isn't working, try selecting Wi-Fi mode from the desktop app (but make sure you have mobile data turned off on your phone). I figured this out by accident but it worked. After selling my last VR headset, I found myself missing my racing games. This app took care of that problem. VRidge saved me from having to buy a new headset.

Does not work with the latest stable Rift Cat version, says version mismatch and won't connect. Seems to connect just fine to the latest beta version though.

The USB option does not work and when I connect to my Wi-Fi steamer indicates that I don't have my headset "headset not visible" and the phone app does not connect to vridge Waste of money.

Cannot connect to the phone at all. No matter how much I set up, nothing still "Seeking connection" I used various USB tethering connection. USB wire? Yes that too. Nothing. Tried manual IP? Nothing as well! Last resort, Wi-Fi connection? Still doesn't work even though my connection is decent. Nice one Vridge. I was supposed to buy the premium but not anymore. I'm going for IVRY, their demo worked at least

Everything worked until I got to the connecting to the phone part, it showed a black screen instead of rift cat, and it makes my operating system brick itself it doesn't work at all

On an older device, it worked fine. On my newer device, when I press steam vr it blacks out and never goes into the steam vr lobby. The computer gets input but my phone screen is just black.
