I originally gave this 5 out of 5. Had my TICKR X for 4 years. But recently my device is not connecting to this Yahoo app or the WahooRunFit app (which works better than this app) When it was working, it worked very well. Takes some time to load offline workouts, otherwise it was great. EDIT 3/7/21-So there is a new TICKR X out. I sent an email asking if the first generation is no longer compatible now that the second generation is out.

The best app for cycling It easily recognizes third-party sensors, topeak mines, and pairs with them effortlessly. For syncing with strata you'll need "element" by wahoo, too.

This new app doesn't let me connect my bolt. I won't be using the app, and I'll be looking into other brands cycling computers.

With the launch of the Element Ace this is now the only option for that device, compared to the previous Element specific app it is slow, buggy and lacking features, changes made in the app don't always go to the unit, there Is no way to rename sensors or gear ratios, it feels half finished and doesn't make the Yahoo Ace experience particularly intuitive. The previous app was much better, I hope this app gets fixed before the entire Yahoo Element family migrates to it and the original app is closed

The update has made the app pretty redundant for me. I use the app with the Kickr smart trainer, using erg, simulation and resistance modes to control my sessions. Since the recent update however these seem to have disappeared making the app a bit pointless for me. It used to work perfectly so why update?
