Walk & Hatch - MyDailySteps

A pixel-art step counter where every step hatches an egg. Your commute and your evening walk become time spent collecting companions.

WALK TO HATCH
- Put an egg in an incubator and walk. Every step brings it closer to hatching
- Bigger eggs take more steps, but rarer companions are more likely
- Reach your daily step goal to receive a new egg
- Hatch more to unlock extra incubators and warm several eggs at once

CATCH THEM IN THE GRASS
- The grass rustles as you walk. Look inside to meet a wild companion
- Tap when the rings line up to catch it
- Morning or night, sun or rain, the season, a full moon: who appears keeps changing
- Complete "Today's request" and that day's companion comes to you

80+ COMPANIONS TO COLLECT
- Three rarities: Common, Rare and Legendary, plus very rare color variants
- Everyone you meet is recorded in your collection
- More companions are on the way

A REAL STEP COUNTER
- Automatic step counting with Health Connect or your phone's built-in step sensor
- Set your own daily goal and follow it on a progress ring
- Your streak, your best day and how many days you reached your goal
- Calendar heatmap plus 7, 30 and 90-day charts

WIDGETS
- Small: today's steps and your progress
- Medium: today's steps and the steps left until your egg hatches

BONUS: THE GARDEN
- Companions you meet on your walks can live in the Garden, a small bonus game inside the app. They wander around and gather acorns
- Bring two of the same companion together and they evolve, through three stages. Evolved forms show up in your collection
- Raise one to its third stage and you get a thank-you egg, which you hatch by walking
- Acorns keep piling up while the app is closed, so you can play at your own pace between walks

PERSONALIZATION
- Dark mode follows your phone's setting
- 33 languages
