Walkie Talkie PTT · Trailcall

Trailcall is an offline walkie talkie app: it sends push-to-talk voice between nearby phones over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct. No internet, no mobile network, no account. Trailcall must be installed on every phone you want to talk to. It works only between phones running Trailcall: it does not connect to hardware walkie-talkies or to other apps. Range depends on the surroundings and the phones, usually tens of metres in open terrain.

How it works
1. Everyone installs Trailcall and grants the Bluetooth and microphone permissions.
2. Pick a channel and an optional PIN, or share them with a QR code or an invite link so friends join the same channel.
3. Hold the big button, talk, release. Nearby phones on your channel hear you through the loudspeaker. Up to 8 phones can share a channel.

Free features
• Unlimited push to talk: no quota and no daily limit (a single transmission lasts up to 60 seconds)
• Channels 1–16
• Optional 4-digit group PIN: only phones with the same channel and PIN hear each other
• List of connected people with signal-quality bars
• Compass showing magnetic north, with 1 saved spot
• QR code and invite link to join the same channel
• Works with the screen off, with an ongoing notification
• Big talk button you can use with gloves, screen lock against accidental touches
• Optional talk with the volume key, roger beep, dark theme
• See locations your friends send, with direction arrow and distance
• Replay the latest received message
• Turkish, English, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, Italian, Indonesian and Arabic

The free version shows ads: a banner on the main screen, and a full-screen ad only when you leave a channel, at most once every 3 minutes and never while you are talking or listening. Ads need internet; the walkie talkie does not.
