Verry good alternative to CHIRP ! I have successfully programmed 2 Baofeng bf 888s and 1 BF-V8 mini on the same frequency. Also works well with my UV-5r and UV-82. Highly recommend app for two-way radio users !

Well it does work, if you have the correct radio. I have some UV-5R's and two 5RH PRO's. It works great with the UV-5R, but not to 5RH PRO. Current supported devices: - Baofeng AR-152 - Baofeng BF-888S - Baofeng F8HP - Baofeng UV-5R - Baofeng UV-5RH - Baofeng UV-82 - Baofeng UV-9R Pro / Plus - Baofeng UV-10R - Baofeng UV-13 Pro - Baofeng UV-17 Pro GPS oh well maybe he'll update it to work with the 5RH PRO.

Not sure why this has no reviews. I bought it to program a couple Baofeng 888s that I bought for a gift for a fellow hiker. Worked flawlessly. Took a minute to realize I could make and save a preset to then copy over to the other radios. Once I realized that it took literally 3 seconds to program the other radio. 10/10 hate needing a PC to program. And this is useful ANYWHERE since you just need your phone and a cable.

Just will not recognize my 2021 UV5-R and misreports my UV5-RH as a UV-17 pro but then hangs. Used two different, known working Baofeng USB cables so that's not the issue. Both radios work perfectly with CHIRP. Seems to be a grand waste of money.

Do NOT waste your money. This app is NOT user-friendly AT ALL. I've tried to connect to my radio multiple times. I finally figured out I needed to have my developer options on to be able to transfer data. When I was finally able to actually download my previous channel list from the radio I wasn't able to edit it in any way. There are absolutely no instructions for anything. Then, somehow, the app erased everything on my radio. All the work I'd done was just gone. In a word, HORRIBLE!

This app is only for the newer uv5r the older uv 5r don't even work the older 888s don't work I have an uv3r does not work what about the uv k5 all these other radios the app is not compatible with them. The app is limited why am I spending this money on an app that's limited to just a few radios and am I getting churp free and is much wider range on programming radios plus in churp you can simply copy and paste your frequency so very easy before charging money make the app more compatible.

Not working on galaxy s21 and baofeng 888s - holds on loading something from walkie... Google didn't approve refund. Nice
