Wallfold: Live Wallpapers

Quiet art that notices you.

Wallfold is a small gallery of live wallpapers made like prints, not screensavers: fine lines, soft gradients, glass, halftones and folded light, layered at real depths. Tilt your phone and the layers lean past each other. Swipe between home screens and the far layers drift. Tap, and each piece answers in its own quiet way: a ripple, a glow, a swirl, the light swinging toward your finger.

Pick a piece, tap Set as wallpaper, done. No themes to build, no sliders, no hundred layers of settings.

THE COLLECTION
Fifty pieces, each in two colourways, all dark-first so they sit quietly behind your icons:
• Strata, Dune and Drift: sheets of fine lines folding over each other
• Reeded and Vitrine: light through fluted glass
• Lumen: light spilling from a seam in a dark room
• Twist, Saffron and Ribbon: ribbons turning over, bands fanned out and braided
• Haze, Mist and Afterglow: soft, out-of-focus gradients
• Lintel, Echo and Vesper: bars of blue neon, rings rippling out from the camera, tubes of sea-green light
• Switchback and Hall: a bundle of lines turning back on itself, a floor and ceiling running on into the dark
• Obsidian: a black slab in real 3D, lit red from behind, turning as you tilt
• Gatefold: one dusk, folded twice, coming apart as you lean
• Moiré: two combs of stripes sliding through each other as you lean
• Tiers: steps of blue going down into the dark
• Dawn: beams of every colour rising through reeded glass
• Sheet and Backlit: a sheet of dark glass and a dark diamond, their edges catching warm light and cool
• Bevel: iridescent colour poured behind leaning ribs of glass
• Poster: black, white and one red ring, each mark at its own depth
• Glow: soft beans of colour glowing in the dark
• Loom and Weft: light running the threads of a grid
• Orbit and Shard: glass spheres lit blue, coral wire pulled tight
• Graticule, Hatch, Lattice, Duplex and Modular: grids, engraving, halftones and a Bauhaus alphabet
…and more.

MADE TO MOVE, NOT TO DRAIN
Every piece is drawn live by your phone's graphics chip, not played from a video, so it stays sharp at any size and loops seamlessly, forever. Wallfold only draws while you can see it, eases off when nothing is moving, and steps down further in Battery Saver or when your phone runs warm.

NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE
No account, no ads, no tracking. Wallfold doesn't even ask for internet access. The tilt is read from your phone's motion sensors, on the phone, and is never stored or sent anywhere.

Works on Android 9 and up with OpenGL ES 3.0. Best with a gyroscope; phones without one still lean with gravity.
