Description by cuzi (from Google Play)

The sole purpose of this app is to back up the current wallpaper.

Up to Android 13 you need to grant the "READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" permission to access the wallpaper.

On Android 13 and higher it is necessary to grant the "MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" permission.
This permission also allows read and write access to all user files on the device. The app does not use the permission to access any files though.

Worked perfectly for what I needed it for. However, due to having a more recent android version had to download the updated version from their GitHub.

★★★★★ Marc Mullings · May 20, 2026

It's stupid that this was the only way to save an old wallpaper photo from my phone, but this app worked perfectly, and I'm very happy it exists

★★★★☆ MD Misba Khan · Dec 23, 2025

I downloaded this app from Play store, and then it didn't work in my Realme Note 50 and it's running on Android 15 then I downloaded it from (F-Droid Version 1.1.4) and it's working perfectly now. And I find out that Google Play Store has this app on old version that is 1.1.3, so now I'm thinking that's why maybe it didn't work in my device, and after I upgraded it from F-Droid then it to work. So I recommend any of you if you want you can download it from F-Droid

My home screen wallpaper is 2400 x 2400, once I export it appears to be cropped out. I am using Redmi Note 11

★☆☆☆☆ Jason Reyes · Jun 22, 2025

Didn't work "failed to extract wallpaper"

★☆☆☆☆ Jonathan Miller · Jan 8, 2026

Broken will not work on Android 13 and newer.

★☆☆☆☆ Joel Zimmerman · Feb 25, 2025

This is awful! It saved one wallpaper. When I switched to a different wallpaper on my phone, it kept the showing the same wallpaper as before. I force stopped the app, cleared cache & data to no avail. No matter what I tried, it would not load the new wallpaper to try and save it.

So sad that this app is not supported and functional anymore
