WAMR View Deleted Messages

Someone deleted a message before you could read it? WAMR saves incoming notifications from your messaging apps so you can read deleted messages even after they disappear from the chat.

WAMR works with WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Viber, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Skype, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and any other app that sends notifications. Choose which apps to monitor and WAMR takes care of the rest.

How it works

WAMR listens for incoming message notifications and saves the text on your device. If the sender deletes a message later, you still have it. Messages are grouped by app and sender, so you can browse conversations just like in the original app.

Key features

• Monitor any app — pick which apps to track, from popular messengers to any app with notifications
• Conversation view — messages grouped by sender with unread counts, just like a real inbox
• Keyword alerts — set up to 3 keywords and get notified instantly when they appear in any message
• Message search — find any saved message across all monitored apps
• Block & mute — block entire apps from the notification bar or mute individual senders
• Private & offline — all messages stored locally on your device, no cloud, no third-party access
• Dark mode — switch between light, dark, or system theme

Keyword alerts

Set keywords that matter to you. When any monitored app receives a message containing your keyword, WAMR sends you a separate notification so you never miss it. Great for tracking specific topics, names, or important words across all your chats. Premium unlocks unlimited keywords.

Works with any app

Unlike most recovery apps that only support one or two messengers, WAMR can monitor notifications from any installed app. Popular messengers get smart conversation grouping by sender. Other apps show messages in a simple timeline.

Setup

1. Grant notification access when prompted
2. Exclude WAMR from battery optimization so Android does not stop it in the background
3. Pick the apps you want to monitor

That is all it takes. WAMR runs quietly in the background and saves messages as they arrive.

What to keep in mind

WAMR recovers text messages from notifications. It cannot recover images, videos, or voice messages. Messages sent before WAMR was installed cannot be recovered. If a messaging app does not send a notification for a message, WAMR cannot capture it. Recovery depends on your device keeping WAMR running and notifications enabled.
