Good game but the if you want a boost you can pay like 20 euro to get something that gives you almost nothing.

I absolutely love Warhammer and having a mobile game with a huge character selection to unlock and play just makes it a million times better. The events are fun, currently Armageddon is going on. But unlocking a bunch of stuff is great! Only real downside is getting enough to unlock more characters takes a huuuuge amount of grinding unless you want to purchase the resources and even then, characters aren't a guarantee. Overall, I hace loved my experience on Tactics and will continue playing!

The game reels you in with easy early missions, then aggressively power-creeps starter units. Enemies start to one-cycle your team, and winning relies entirely on RNG and lucky crits going both ways. The energy system ruins the grind. You run out fast when farming upgrade loot, forcing you to wait or pay. Plus, menu navigation bombards you with cash-grab popups. Overall, free characters become obsolete fast. You must buy new units or face severe daily time gates just to make minimal progress.

Fun game but when you load it up it is full of pop-ups to buy expansions and characters and all that junk. The UI is just a mess and that's why I uninstalled. It's fun but when you also finish a match I had 5 pop-ups for in game purchases, you click in the wrong button at the bottom of the screen, and it is FULL of in game purchases.

Scarabs are literally impossible to beat ID you leave them all alive for 1 round, the beginner heroes do virtually nothing to them, and the only hope of getting through the first campaign is getting lucky with requisitions, if I could put 0 I would, make the scarabs have 1 unified health bar, or the new players are going to uninstall

Tried it again a few years later and this is still a pure money grab. Unlocking characters take upwards if 250 shards and a quest will reward between 1-4. Any better quest that mught reward more is locked behind a pass. At any time the game will ask you for upwards of €100 for temporary passes in order to actually play current content. Might be the most predatory game on the App store. Edit: Got a response from the developer that confirms the fact that if you're behind you'll pay to catch up.
