Almost every Android sleezes* something onto any device when it's installed. Android system monitoring apps are some of the worst, but the good news is Watch Dog not only is 100.00% not sleazy, the developer'sthe are zealously focused on a strict and narrowly function for tracking background apps and geting them turned off. Most Android apps restart automatically after being shut off. Watch Dog knows how to keep bad acting apps from running. So what's so special about that? The answer there are four qualities in Watch Dog what it does special. Quality 1- Watch Dog goes its job exactly the smartest way and does not do anything else*. There are a billion ways of identifying and knocking off apps. Watch Dog does it the one smartest way. The details are published already. If you think the method used Watch Dog for dealing with bad acting Apps doing additional stuff that were not looking for when yiu installed it is what I call "sleazy."

UPDATE 11MAY18 - Just uninstalled: After 7 days of use the only app it showed as being used was...itself. Seriously, I haven't used a single other app in a week? Worthless!!! So far doesn't seem to work...no matter what apps i open the only thing listed under CPU is the watchdog app itself and the widget only ever displays 1 app. I would think there are dozens of processes running all the time because when you go into the settings--app manager...there are literally of dozens of active processes listed! Will check again later to see if anythign changes but seems completely worthless!!

Crashes every minute on Xperia XZ with Android 8. Last app update was 2012, so modern Android not supported.

This app does nothing. Even with all optional processes selected, the only process this app showed was itself with my CPU pranking 91%
