Description
WatchFlower is a plant monitoring application that reads and plots data from your Xiaomi "Flower Care" and "RoPot" Bluetooth sensors. WatchFlower also works great with a couple of Bluetooth thermometers and air quality monitoring sensors!
WatchFlower is an open source software. By buying it here, you support its development! It doesn't track your application usage, doesn't require an account, nor any other personal data!
The application is available in English, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Frisian, French, German, Norwegian, Spanish and Russian. Application developed by Emeric Grange. Visual design by Chris Díaz.
New features: - WatchFlower now has a plant database with over 3400 entries! - Background updates and notifications!
Supported sensors: ✔ Xiaomi "Flower Care" / VegTrug "Grow Care Home" ✔ Xiaomi "Flower Care Max" / VegTrug "Grow Care Garden" ✔ Xiaomi "RoPot" / VegTrug "Grow Care Pot" - Works with both international and Chinese versions.
✔ Tuya "Flower Care"
✔ Parrot "Flower Power" ✔ Parrot "Pot" - Automatic watering is not yet supported.
✔ Xiaomi "Digital Hygrometer Clock" ✔ Xiaomi "Digital Hygrometer Alarm" - Supports automatic time setting and switching temperature units.
About Bluetooth Low Energy: - While scanning for Bluetooth Low Energy sensors, the application will ask for "location permission". This is an Android requirement (see https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/connectivity/bluetooth/permissions). WatchFlower does NOT use your location, for any purpose. - Many phones WON'T let you use Bluetooth Low Energy if your GPS is not enabled! - Some Android phones have poor Bluetooth quality... Unfortunately there's little that can be done. Stay close to your sensors and let WatchFlower do the rest. It won't do any miracles but it has a couple of tricks to mitigate bad Bluetooth connectivity. - If the application doesn't work on your device, just uninstall it to get a refund! (see https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637)

Very useful app instead of the mi flower app. The app feels solid and reliable. No account or something, just scan and see the data of the sensors. Only thing is that is the database is not that complete yet.

Works as described. Been looking for an app that explains what the range for the sensors should be and this does it beautifully. Hopefully in the future they can add a database of plants so the app can give tailored advice (eg, you've watered your succulents too much)

Using it for Xiaomi Flower Sensors. Works great. Using it to monitor 2 of them.

Total disaster. No way to change the temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius. It looks like a school project app. Also, there are missing basic plants like citrus lemon and tons more

Wrote a review, it was removed. Application is useless, I want a refund. It doesn't load data for many days and doesn't give tips for plants.

Flower care stopped working and this "new app" doesn't solve the issue. Asked for refund after several tries
