Description
Create fast and easy VPN connections from anywhere to WatchGuard XTM security appliances. WatchGuard Mobile VPN enables the creation of a mobile virtual private network (VPN) connection via IPSec. Your system administrator sets up the VPN at the WatchGuard firewall, exports profile settings to a file, which is then distributed via email to end users.
When the Mobile VPN application is installed users can simply click on the file, attached to an email from your administrator or uploaded to your Android device via other file management App, to apply the VPN profile to the Android device. Users make VPN connection directly using the App and an encrypted tunnel is created, which secures data traffic from an Android device to the corporate network and other behind-the-firewall resources. Firewall policies and protections are applied to VPN connections, which means WatchGuard customers with Android devices will gain the benefits of gateway anti-virus, intrusion prevention and other security services to keep out hackers, spyware, malware and more.

This application works flawlessly on my OnePlus One (bacon) device running just about any custom ROM, factory ROM, rooted/unrooted, etc (5.01, 5.1.1) If you have problems trying to open the file, I recommend use ES File Explorer. ES is the best file manager software for an Android device anyways. Simply email the *.WGM file to your user, have them save it to a directory on the phone (usually "Downloads" is the default) and then browse to the folder/file with the ES software-- Good Luck!! Cannot import I have about 8 different android devices and I cannot import a vpn profile on any of them, when choosing "open with" for the wgm file the watchguard client is not an option. Please fix, obviously there are quite a few people having this problem.

Can't associate profile with app Would be awesome however the app has no way of looking for the client profile, even when I go to "open with" the watchguard app doesn't come up..
