This is an excellent app that has continually been improved (as has the firmware in our Watch Mate Vision). We really like the anchor watch ancillary feature - that's been a great bonus. We find the app easier to use to track AIS targets than the NMEA fed data on the Ray marine C80 chart plotter. Thank you.

Works perfectly with the XB8000 and is clearer and easier to use than any of the other Wi-Fi AIS apps I have installed over the last couple of years. Once you have tried the VM app you will not use any other.

Come on Vesper, your Android app is terrible compared to your IOS app. A simple example is firmware updates. The Android app gives no feedback about install status and even if the current firmware is up-to-date. Just a big red "Update" button that looks like it does nothing when you press it. It's almost like a professional developer worked on IOS and the Android app was a "Learn to Program 101" project.

Not possible to remotely monitor AIs or nema 2000 data. Don't waste money on the xb 800 it can only LOCALLY monitor your AIs and nema data. If you have any need to remotely monitor your vessel info this will not work. Just buy the vesper cortex don't be an idiot like me.
