Great support and a useful app for pool testing. I ran into an issue assigning a site type, and Brandon from Lamott support responded quickly, fixed the problem, and followed up clearly. Use the Pro Version of this app. I don't even know why they have the home version - this app based on the Pro Version, but you can't do basic things like to create an online profile or specify which chemicals you use. I finally found the Pro version, created a free account and was able to go online to specify which chemicals I use (you cannot do this in the app, even with Pro). Also, with the Pro app lets you enter values manually. So, if you accidentally mess up your reading from ColorQ you can manually adjust the data before you save. It's a MUCH better experience than the Home version. BTW I had to search really hard for how to specify what chemical I use, but it's there. When you log in to the online account in a web browser, go to "Treatment Profiles" and click on any "Treat" option, and it will let you specify your chemical. Not very user-friendly but once I found it, I can finally use the ColorQ as I expected.

App no longer sending measurements on my Pixel phone. Worked fine through early July 2024, but recent Waterline app updates (including the July 15) shows it is connected to Color Q 2x when I start the test but no measurements are sent to the App! I installed an old version (Jan24) of the Waterline App from APK Pure, and it works, so I'm keeping that for now. In any event, it now appears the issue is with the newer version of the App. Hope Lamott can fix this soon!

After the update this app no longer works on my pixel 6 pro. Zero Bluetooth connectivity for my Waterline Spin Touch.

The only reason I tried this app is that their previous app (Installing) no longer works as of 5/24/2021. Waterline Solutions HOME is horrible, especially compared to Lamott's previous Installing app. I called Lamott about the issue, and they acted like they had never even heard of the Installing app. .when "Lamott" is written all over the strips and the app. After a while, their support team called me back to tell me that the Installing had been discontinued, and they didn't know why it worked a week ago, but not now. Bottom line is they said that their new app, Waterline Solutions HOME, would do what I needed it to do. .and that is simply told me accurate chem readings by scanning the test strips that I had purchased for this purpose. The AGONY continues: Waterline requires users to create an account with full address and double-opt-in email verification. WHY?? Once you get past the infuriating registration process, it requires info about your pool and how many pools you are servicing. .which seems awkward since this is the HOME version of the app, not the PRO version. Now we get to the testing part. Every time you test, it requires you to choose from 3 testing options. Seems like that should be a setting that never changes. But WORST OF ALL, it does not register any readings for the strips I submitted. 0ph? 0FCl? 0 everything. This app is horrible. Especially when compared to their previous app. Why? Because what used to take 3 taps on my phone now takes 12 taps AND IT STILL DOES NOT WORK!
