Description
WatSAFE is the official safety app of the University of Waterloo. It is the only app that integrates with UWaterloo's safety and security systems. UW Police has worked to develop a unique app that provides students, faculty and staff with added safety on the UWaterloo campus. The app will send you important safety alerts and provide instant access to campus safety resources.
WatSAFE features include:
- Emergency Contacts: Contact the correct services for the UWaterloo area in case of an emergency or a non-emergency concern
- Tip Reporting: Multiple ways to report a safety/security concern directly to UWaterloo security.

Still has bugs Maps for shuttle did not load and flashlight did not work. Would prefer more control on emergency contact buttons due to how big a deal a false trigger would be. Focus should be on push with ability to toggle 911 emergency dial. Other contacts should be at least off of main page of the app. Alarm is cheesy high pitch three burst pulse would be universal strobe sos function might also be useful

Why is there a "call 911" button? What if I accidentally open the app, or if it opens in my pocket? I can already call 911 from my phone. That's what a phone does.

Utter garbage. They tested the emergency system this morning and when in the afternoon there was an actual stabbing on campus, they decided to not use the app to alert others. Utter failure of a system.

I opened the app and was trying various features. I click on a "Waterloo Region Crisis Supports" link. Page not found <3

The app does not open at all on Huawei p20. The watsafe logo appears and then my phone freezez and Crashes to home screen after 5 minutes.
