wattata

wattata shows your electric car's battery on the car's own screen, and keeps every drive and every charge for wattata on your iPhone.

On the car's screen
• State of charge, battery energy and estimated range
• Live charging power and charge port status
• Consumption and outside temperature
• The car's own units: miles or kilometers, °F or °C

The app reads these values straight from the car: they are current to the moment, with no remote service in between, even without a data plan.

Every drive, every charge
wattata records in the background, even with the app closed: each drive from one parking spot to the next, each charge from plug-in to unplug. Nothing to start. A discreet notification names the task under way: "Recording this trip", "Recording this charge", or "Ready to record the next trip or charge".

Linked to your iPhone
Point your iPhone's camera at the code shown on the car's screen, then confirm in wattata. From then on, each time you park, the car hands its drives and charges to the iPhone over Bluetooth, encrypted end to end. No account, no password. On the iPhone, wattata turns them into clear numbers: what each drive used, what each charge cost, your efficiency over time and where your battery spends its time.

The car app is free, and its dashboard works without an iPhone. wattata for iPhone is on the App Store: free for 14 days, then by subscription.

Your privacy
No account, no ads, no analytics kit. Your drives go from the car to your iPhone, not to our servers. Two exceptions, both up to you: the car's last position if you turn on Locate vehicle in the iPhone app, and the diagnostic journal if you choose to send it to us.
wattata only reads battery and driving data: it sends the car no commands.

Compatible cars
