I'M DONE WITH THESE BOOKS, THEY ALLOW POLYAMORY BUT NOT WITH FARAH AND IN THE NEXT BOOK (BOOK 4), YOU CAN'T ROMANCE FARAH AND LI-SAR, WHICH IS DOWNRIGHT STUPID........CHOICES LITERALLY MEAN NOTHING AT ALL ANYMORE BUT THE CHOICES LITERALLY MEANT NOTHING IN THIS SERIES Anyway

Pacing was off and the serial kidnappings didn't feel like they had any real importance/weight to them and like they were shoehorned in because somehow a blood drive was more important than supernaturals being kidnapped. The game punishes you at the end if your character doesn't accept Rebecca's help when it should've been pass/fail based on skills. Easily the worst entry in the series, the detective feels more useless than ever. The fanfics for this series are better than the actual series :/

While I enjoy the story, the vamps have been getting more IDK frustrating it's like everything ur speaking with them especially Nate and Felix ur only options r 5 different ways to say how amazing they are and 1 that makes them feel sad then immediately praise u despite that. Mason and Adam gets more upset and have more nuance besides simping, but even they overvalued u even if u treat them poorly and barely choose to interact with them its jarring. And each book makes that fact worse.
