This was a 1-star review due to the OCR scanning feature which I was frustrated with, but the developers we're absolutely awesome and reached out to explain how to make a workaround. So if you want to turn off the camera scanning you go in to the settings and uncheck the scanning feature, then it just uses a regular camera which is awesome. The app is absolutely great again, the updates are superb !!! If you can afford it- definitely do the subscription and get the back up features. Great app!!!

Super easy to convert all saved receipts to a full PDF report with photos of receipts and to a csv which is better for accountants to sift through data. The AI software to automatically scan receipts is really quick and useful, so you don't have to fill out all the details yourself

Need more options for separating multiple files to be grouped under individual folders and then to facilitate the bulk transfer of multiple folders for an individual report, such as breaking down expenses by category then sending an email with links to all chosen folders to your CPA.

I had Smart Receipt Plus on my old phone. Now that I have a new phone, my purchase is gone because you discontinued the Plus version and replaced it with a pricey subscription. I regret supporting this company from the beginning. It's so greedy.

Paid for a Smart Receipts: Expenses Scan (Smart Receipts Plus) subscription and did not get the functionality (adverts still appearing etc.) emailed December 2024 and January 2025. It's now been 4 weeks since last email and no reply. Would not recommend under any circumstances. Update: July 2025 - riddled with ads, exporting very sporadic. Still would not recommend. Problem I have is I've a lot of data to rekey!
