I have a paid version and am I changing my previous review and rating from 3 to 5 stars. I was very happy to discover the developers have taken heed of the many new widget complaints, including mine, and made some changes. I can now resize one of the widgets to be almost identical in size, shape and content to what was my favorite widget before they all had a radical makeover without warning earlier this year. Pretty please reinstate previous widgets. The old scrollable one showing daily forecast with the choice to make your system clock and alarms available was the best widget of any weather app - showed all the info you could want in a compact footprint. The only new one designed to show multiple upcoming days is smaller, but that's not much use when the numbers are so tiny they're illegible. And no clock. I used this app for years, with the widget smack at the top of my home screen, not anymore.

For a short while I stopped getting the Temu ads that look like porn, and I kept using this app. But the ads are back. Doesn't matter how much feedback I send to Google ads - why bother asking for feedback? I understand apps need ads. Not the issue. The pornlike Temu ads, for me, are. I get enough of this advertising where I can't control it. I can choose not to use this app, however, so will stop.

USELESS WIDGETS NOW. Have been using this app for years, even back as a paid app, but now they've replaced the widgets with these fixed-height ones that have such tiny fonts that they can't be read at all and if you resize the height, the widget and font stays tiny. Absolutely useless widgets now. -EDIT- The FAQs do not address the fundamental design flaw in the widget where it DOES NOT scale and resize correctly, and no word that they will ever be fixed because they've been "upgraded" now
