I will give you a 5 star for now, I'm a developer also and I also develop this kind of app for my work but I don't know how you triggered the app pinning using this application. Android app pinning should have navigation gestures turned on, app pinning turned on in the android security page in settings, and should only be access in recent task screen, still not sure if this is an android security bug, or it can always be triggered by 3rd party apps like this
